Dan Seals Greatest Hits1989
Randy Travis says his It’s Just a Matter of Time was one of those nice accidents that sometimes happen in the record business. Warner Brothers was working on a project called Rock, Rhythm and Blues, taking songs from the 50’s and 60’s and having current artists put their take on the songs. Richard Perry and Randy picked It’s Just a Matter of time because of his low register. Most of the other songs were in too high a register for Randy. It was the only song released as a single off that album.

Now & Then

Heidi says her earliest country influence has to be Lorretta Lynn. Lorretta always was and is a maverick in Country Music. She always told it like it was and Heidi loves that about her. One of her other biggest influences was Waylon Jennings but if she has to pick her all time favorite classic song it would be hard to do but she has always loved Merle Haggard’s – The Way I Am.
